straight lines over circles
Perhaps the most ultimate goal of man is death.
I learned this while I was having one of my late night to early morning talks with Carlo. I am blessed to have someone to talk to because it is in these moments that I realize a lot about myself.
There are two kinds of people:
- Those who plan to live
- and Those who live to die.
Those who plan to live spend all their lives delaying the inevitable. They choose health plans. They live in constant fear for their lives. It is a life that is hollow and circular. They choose to live in routine, because to them a circle has no end.
Then there are those who live to die. They are often mistaken as pessimists with a death wish. But it is a life that is lived with no fear, because these people live each day to the brink. They choose to live in a straight line, with each day brand new, not knowing if it is their last.
How do you choose to live?
Perhaps my most ultimate goal in life has always been immortality. I made this decision earlier on in my life. I chose to devote my life to art, because Art in itself, has the ability to remain immortal.
And how you choose to live your life, dictates your immortality.
